You must be able to work independently and accurately develop products and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the application of 2D design and illustration onto 3D products for the company.
Key Requirements To Meet For Consideration
- You will have a relevant tertiary qualification such as a Degree in Graphic Design, coupled with 3 - 5 years' experience in conceptual design, with a passion for homewares and dining
- You will be a great team player, with experience in color forms, sourcing and buying from both local and international suppliers - experience in designing 3D objects is beneficial
- You must have experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, CAD software, and be able to translate 2D design to 3D products - Procreate is advantageous
- You must have creative problem-solving skills and be hands-on in your approach, as well as be able to determine trends and have a keen understanding of color science to be able to interpret other artists' designs
- You will be checking samples, making changes where needed, trend forecasting, and costing new products, as well as briefing packaging, providing samples, creating product specifications and supplying all data to copywriters
- You must have a valid driver's license, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
