Position Summary:
We are seeking an inspirational and charismatic leader with a proven track record in building and directing high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, energetic, smart, and thoughtful, with a passion for innovation in the communications and marketing industry. This role involves driving acquisition, managing expenses with full P&L responsibility, and ensuring best-in-class strategy and execution of campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team to achieve and exceed goals.
- Create an engaging and positive work environment that promotes wellness and diversity.
- Develop and implement recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.
- Drive acquisition of work from brands, manage expenses, and maintain full P&L responsibility.
- Set departmental goals and KPIs, and ensure teams meet/exceed targets.
- Monitor annual budgets and ensure cost avoidance targets are met.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate new capabilities into our portfolio.
- Research and implement new initiatives to drive service offerings, focusing on quality and cost efficiency.
- Drive the monetization of DraftLines ecosystem and explore opportunities to sell services externally.
- Ensure exceptional stakeholder experiences, as measured by feedback and net promoter scores.
- Keep global and local stakeholders informed of company developments and performance updates.
- Collaborate with VP, directors, partners, and global teams to achieve company objectives.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, aggressively testing to improve ROI.
- Develop business plans and monitor their efficacy and progress.
- Prepare and present 1-year and 3-year plans for DraftLine.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
- 5-10+ years of experience effectively leading high-performing teams, preferably in an agency environment.
- Knowledge of KPI setting and management for performance marketing excellence.
- Proven ability to grow and lead cross-functional teams (Business Intelligence, Digital Products, Creative, Development, Social Media, Analytics).
- Excellent communication and client servicing skills with a passion for client retention.
- Strong business acumen and operational know-how to run and grow a complex start-up.
- Digitally savvy with an in-depth understanding of how technology can transform a business.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Extensive experience driving excellent ROI for stakeholders using superior marketing and technology solutions.
