Finance Project Manager: Africa Zone

The Key Purpose of this role is to develop and implement Africa Zone best practices for all projects designated by the VP Finance. For example, Depot/Brewery control procedures for inventory logistics and storage.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Run with key strategic projects, as designated by the VP Finance, by managing day to day activities, deliverables from various functions and also communicating with key senior stakeholders involved in the projects
  • Prepare overview of current operating procedures in Africa Zone through engagement with relevant stakeholders logistics, supply, compliance, internal control and GRM
  • Identify key gaps in operating procedures, group best practice and prepare proposal on solution implementation required controls, role accountabilities per function, system/equipment improvements, technological updates and cross functional/system integration opportunities - Gate Controls, Brewery Dispatch, Return Controls and System integration
  • Delivery solution to Africa Zone Mancom committee (Logistics, Supply, Finance and Zone President) to resolve business exposure Prepare budget requirements/capex implications, define control parameters, system requirements and proposal per country/function
  • Implement Africa Zone Inventory loss solution across key identified sites
  • Deliver findings report on stock loss improvements to Mancom Committee
  • Ensure operational excellence, customer service objectives and compliance with MiCS and ABInBev policies are achieved by managing the respective teams interacted with as part of the designated projects
  • Identify optimization and automation opportunities within the designated projects being run and delivered
  • Continuous improvement review and implementation recommendations for processes reviewed as part of designated projects

Minimum Requirement:
  • Post graduate degree/honors degree or MBA in Finance/Accounts/Logistics focused, with a preference for governance and control procedures
  • 10-15 years' experience in FMCG operations/finance
