The Investment Banking Technology team (IB Tech) is looking for a passionate DevOps Support Engineer to join the Operations Support team.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for multiple inhouse and vendor applications
- Manage production incidents in accordance with the ITIL framework
- Perform post-incident root cause analysis
- Assist with the development and implementation of system and process changes
- Assist with audit queries
- Implement and test disaster recovery plans as and when required
- Perform application testing as and when required
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Implement observability/telemetry
- Implement/improve application monitoring
- Identify, develop, and drive the automation of manual tasks
- Develop, over time, a deep understanding of business and technical processes
- Document business and technical processes for the purposes of knowledge-sharing and improved application support
- Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with business and technology partners
- Assist with developing and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence
- Degree in Computer Science/IT/related field, or equivalent working experience
- Min 2 years Information Technology experience
- Experience working in application support
- Solid Information Technology foundation
- ITIL certification
- SRE certification
- Cloud certification/s (esp. AWS)
- Development background
- Linux and Windows scripting
- Windows administration

- Relational/SQL databases
- Experience with programming
