Job type: Freelance (Hourly rate negotiable)
We are looking for a young and dynamic designer who specializes in accessories and bag design.
The designer must have the ability to combine design skills, creativity and fashion industry knowledge in a diverse market.

Minimum requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in fashion or related field
- Must have knowledge of sewing methods ensuring a quality end product
- Must have at least 1 to 3 years sewing different types of fabrics experience
Opportunity responsibilities:
- Sketching designs to manufacturing products
- Sample-making knowledge
- Create design concepts/sketches
- Technical sample execution
- Tracking sample status and daily factory communication
- Take a product from initial concept/sketch all the way through to final tangible product
- Sourcing trims and fabrics
- Managing fabric sourcing, fabric groups and supplier allocations to ensure the right quality are met to maintain brand image
- Spec, fit and do market research on all design concepts, market samples and factory samples
Location: Fourways in Johannesburg
Salary: Freelance hourly rate negotiable
