As our Market Development Manager for Polymers and Oil & Gas, you'll be at the heart of our mission to uncover exciting new market horizons, craft ingenious strategies for market conquest, and nurture growth and revenue streams. Your key responsibilities will involve weaving together the art of strategic planning, sales and marketing prowess, and the magic of relationship building. Get ready to shape our market presence and our customer base!
We count on you for:
- Develop tactics in the region to maximize sales and profits of the commercial strategy of the individual Global Business Units (GBUs: Specialty Polymers, Technology Solutions/Polymer Additives, Novecare Oil & Gas)
- Support and/or negotiate sales contracts working directly with customers and/or with distributors and challenge the existing distribution network structure
- Develop new accounts in Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) and identify market opportunities
- Address strategically challenges regarding to market research, target market selection, market trends, competition analysis, regulatory and compliance matters, navigating cultural and language barriers, distrubition and logistics strategies, marketing and promotion, pricing strategies, risk management and performance metrics.

- Being part of this team, youll be instrumental to make the history of business growth in the region and company transformation
- Development processes and high-performing people can be included in the succession planning to be considered in future opportunities inside the company
- Solid expertise in market development and/or business development in the chemical industry
- Qualification in Business and/or Marketing
- Background in polymer chemistry or polymer sector would be an asset
- Distributors management experience - nice to have
- Knowledge of market research, analysis techniques and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and results-driven mindset
- "Hunter" personality and strong ability to work autonomously
