Account Manager

This is a remote position.

MUST BE BASED IN SOUTH AFRICA

The position of business 2 business Account Manager (remote worker) is considered the backbone

of our business, and one of the most important roles as it is the 1 st step to achieving potentially a

long-standing career with Advance Connects.

The responsibilities within this position are to develop strong relationships via the telephone and

email activities with potential prospects on behalf of our clients, contacting key decision makers and

qualifying the relevance of the call against the campaign objectives for our clients products and

services.

Hours of work

08:45 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday UK time 2 x 15 minutes break time and 30 minutes for lunch.

08:45 to 16:00 Friday UK time 1 x 15 minutes break time and 30 minutes for lunch.

No evenings.

No weekends.

No Bank holidays.

Requirements Typical activities

Outbound (and possibly inbound call handling) calling on behalf of our existing clients, within

the construction industry, built environment and industrial sectors.

Achieving minimum standards against the KPIs required for the clients campaigns.
  • 90+ calls per day.
  • Campaign results (specific to each brief but typically 2 4 results per day).
  • 60 minutes talk time.
  • No call quality failures.
Managing and maintaining an effective sales pipeline.

Using various CRM systems typical with outbound calling activities.

Using standard Microsoft application Outlook, Word, Excel etc.

Skills Required And Expectations Of Successful Candidates.

Excellent communication skills: Within the role you will be provided with full and extensive

training that you will require you to understand the Sales process which includes building

rapport, overcoming objections, and closing opportunities.

An excellent telephone manner, polite and courteous.

Strong written and verbal communication.

Good relationship building and consultative sales skills.

Outgoing and friendly.

Positive and can-do attitude.

It is essential that the Account Manager is IT literate.
