- Matric (Grade 12)
- Drivers License Code 08
- Sales-related courses beneficial
- Tertiary/Sales/Marketing Qualifications beneficial
- At least 3-5 years experience in sales or customer-facing/engagement and a proven track record within a sales/target-driven environment
- Experience in the logistics industry is beneficial
- Relationship Building
- Meet with customers according to the approved call cycle
- Identify new distribution opportunities and as a result increase revenue
- Assist with the transition process by gathering and updating client information in the CRM system
- Reporting
- Report to the Sales/Retention Manager on matters such as:
- Trends monthly
- Customer reactions and complaints daily
- Competitor activity monthly
- Amber/Red Alerts Weekly
- Lost Business monthly
- Down trade Accounts monthly
- Debtors days within terms weekly
- Account KPIs against SLA monthly
- Rate increase monitoring monthly
- Complete CRM daily
- Attend and contribute to sales meetings weekly
- Complete and submit weekly sales report before the deadline (CRM & Share Drive)
- Draft and analyze monthly KPI reports and present to clients with recommendations Top 10 clients monthly following 10 clients every two months and small customers quarterly.
- Down Trade and zero trade clients to be identified monthly feedback and action plan to be presented to the direct manager.
