Responsibilities
Required to maintain and enhance business growth by developing customer relationships through following activities:
Ensure call schedules are carefully structured, moderated and communicated to sales management.
Maintain existing customer base, through the developing of sincere and authentic customer relationships.
Develop and grow market through structured market research plans.
New customers to be canvassed and additional sales secured consistently.
Ensure quarterly to half yearly key customer visits are scheduled with sales management.
Customized, key account customer plans prepared quarterly, and to be communicated to sales management team.
Plans to be reviewed and updated to accommodate changing customer and market needs.
Customer project sheets to be maintained in detail, and are to be prepared for quarterly reviews.
Customer contact reports prepared for all customer visits.
Reports communicated with appointed action items to relevant teams within the business.
Quarterly sales reports completed, with full commentary on customer and market performance changes.
Prepare and communicate bi-annual sales forecasts and to participate in the presentation, moderation and adoption of said detail.
Actively participate in the exposure and enhancement of the brand through various customer and market centred campaigns.
Supplier, Cost And Inventory Management
Required to manage all elements relating to the maintaining and developing of key supplier relationships through a number of mechanisms including:
Completing active supplier reviews to develop and enhance key supplier relationships and activities.
Introduce, develop and grow new supplier relationships in line with the business strategic objectives.
Manage appointed inventory levels, working to limits and optimising stock carry days/positions.
Actively participate in all monthly stock forecasting meetings.
Facilitate price checks, and stock orders with suppliers.
Participate in local stock movement reviews to facilitate stock is available in the right market/distribution centres.
Forecast, manage and report on personal business expenses quarterly.
Requirements
BSc or similar.
3-5 yrs sales and product management experience of raw materials into the manufacturing sector (not negotiable).
Computer proficiency must include a min. of Intermediate excel skills.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills and effectively present information to others.
