Responsibilities
- Daily cash book processing, reconciling and allocation.
- Raising of Sales Ledger Invoices.
- Debtors management receipt allocation, reconciliation, follow up.
- Suppliers management reconciliation, query resolution, recordkeeping, payment preparation
- Accounting to balance sheet
- Full payroll administration and processing
- Department of Labor return of earnings submission.
- Other statutory functions
- Proven work experience of at least 5 years as an Accountant or similar role.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software. Xero is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Payroll software. Simple Pay or Sage VIP advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and statutory regulations.
- Minimum B Com degree with accounting as major and registration with SAIPA/SAICA
