Purpose of Role: The successful candidate will ensure responsibility for the accurate processing of financial data to ensure effective and efficient performance of accounting activities that are in line with internal controls and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Adhere to all Safety Health Environment (SHE) and housekeeping requirements at the branch and customer sites at all times. Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times.
• Orders, sales and cost of sales
• Required to perform Weekly and Month end reporting: Weekly Input Report, Royalty calculation, Bi Monthly, TM1 & COGNOS Month end sales reporting for WMSA region.
• Input, Output and Margins Budget schedule updated compared to actuals for WMSA Region.
• Required to coordinate and resolve pricing and costing issues that arise from Product Managers and Regions.
• Prepare sales budgets and forecasts per product and Region per month in TM1 format compared to actuals
• Fixed assets
• General Accounting
• Banking, treasury and hedging
• System Maintenance
• Finalize LN peer journals
• Loading of vendor bank details on LN
• Cost Centre and General Ledger maintenance
• Statutory reporting
• Management reporting
• Financial Controls
• Perform compliance scorecard testing in line with the schedule per entity
• Record keeping

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years related experience post articles in a similar function
• ERP system experience (preferably LN BAAN)
• SAP experience
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite) excellent working knowledge of Excel
