Job responsibilities:
- To manage and co-ordinate the hotel and food & beverage finance team.
- To ensure daily balancing of hotel and food & beverage revenues.
- To ensure internal controls are adhered to.
- To review and authorise Daily revenue report.
- To review and authorise distribution of Food & Beverage Cost reports.
- To resolve related queries.
- Overseeing debtors’ team.
- Overseeing creditors and bookkeeper team.
- To perform intercompany balance sheet reconciliations.
- To post various month-end journal and reconcile month end general ledger accounts.
- To effectively complete the month end process.
- To ensure effective business processed that support the achievement of the company’s goals and objectives.
- To ensure competent, motivated and satisfied employees.
- To perform other accounting related duties as required.
- To assist financial manager.
Job requirements:
- B Com Qualification majoring in Financial Management or Financial accounting is essential
- Minimum 5 Years relevant experience is essential
- Experience in the Hospitality industry will be an advantage
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid interpersonal skills to interface with external and internal clients.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects to completion with minimal supervision.
- Deadline oriented
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Must be able to liaise at all levels
