A well-established commodity importer/trading company in Maitland is looking for an accountant to head the finance department.
Job responsibilities:
- Maintaining Trial Balance for 2 companies.
- Debtor and Creditor Reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Stock Reconciliations and Management.
- HR duties as required.
- VAT Reconciliation.
- Admin tasks.
Job requirements:
- Finance/accounting certificate, diploma or degree.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in similar role.
- Computer literate (MS Office, Excel and Outlook).
- Able to work accurately, effectively and independently.
- Strong communication, telephone etiquette and excellent people skills.
- Good time management skills and deadline driven.
- Knowledge of Pastel Partner is a key necessity.
