Location: Midrand
3-6 months contract
Criteria:
- CA(SA) or B.Com (Accounting) Hons degree with at least 2 years experience in a Financial Manager role.
- Must have knowledge using SAP Finance.
- Must be able to extrapolate reports, interpret them and draft income statements, cash flows, projections, balance sheet etc. as part of the reporting to the business unit manager.
- IFRS knowledge.
- Income Tax and Value-added Tax knowledge.
- Must have payroll experience.
- SAP Business One experience.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly Management Accounts, and Annual Financial Statements (AFS) Inclusive of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement - in compliance with IFRS.
- Improve and interpret financial reports to support improved business decision-making.
- Financial Planning:
- Preparation of financial budgets for revenues, expenses, capital expenditure and cash flows and communicate this to executive management.
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- Cash Flow Analysis and Management:
- Prepare Regular cash flow projections.
- Control all banking facilities of the company to ensure efficient utilization and proper administration thereof.
- Oversee the overall management of all financial functions.
- Credit Control Management:
- Authorize timely issuance of invoices in accordance with levels of authority.
- Review allocation of invoices to correct supplier and general ledger on a weekly basis.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices.
- System and process improvement.
