Accounts clerk is required in Hoopstad, Free State.
Job responsibilities:
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, with full control of appropriation request register in accordance with company policies.
- Processing and issuing of cheques and electronic funds transfers.
- Responsible for correct VAT claims from the South African Revenue Services in respect of documentation processed.
- Preparation of reconciliations in line with the South African Income Tax Act.
- Assist the Assistant Accountant in the preparation of designated schedules for the inclusion in the company Annual Financial Statements and company tax computation.
Job requirements:
- Matric, preferably studying towards a tertiary qualification.
- Accounts experience ,must have SAP exp.
- Some overtime in order to meet deadlines and be prepared to work some weekends to meet financial year requirements.
