Accounts Payable Clerk (Oracle Experience)

Position Overview:

In this role, you will primarily handle Accounts Payable functions, focusing on supplier management and payments. Your contributions will be vital to ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Approval
  • Uphold systems, procedures, and policies related to Accounts Payable to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Accurately load and review supplier invoices.
  • Review and approve payments in accordance with established deadlines.
Accounts Payable Management
  • Oversee supplier aging accounts, resolving queries both internally and externally.
  • Manage both mass and wire payments.
  • Oversee the Control Assessment Tracking System (CATS).
  • Assist with treasury and cash flow management, ensuring accuracy.
  • Handle invoice and payment processing, including foreign payments.
  • Prepare specific Global Financial Validation System (GFVS) items for management reporting.
  • Ensure Accounts Payable maintenance is up-to-date, with no outstanding items over 90 days.
  • Manage month-end closing accruals and provide ad hoc support to the Accounts Payable Department.
  • Perform administrative tasks and filing as needed.
External Audit
  • Serve as the primary contact for External Auditors, providing necessary information and assisting with the audit process.
  • Resolve queries raised by External Auditors and support audit completion.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting/Accounts Payable.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Accounts Payable function.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required, particularly during month-end.
