About The Role
You will be a Client Manager with a strong emphasis on costing responsibilities and support to senior members of the team, whilst building strong client relationships and taking ownership for individual clients over time. Along with the pricing and client work you will be responsible for key pieces of research work produced by the team.
This Covers
- Advise clients on the full spectrum of Swiss Re products and differentiating solutions to meet their strategic growth aspirations and Swiss Res business objectives
- Significant costing responsibility for some of our key individual and group clients, working closely with Senior Marketing Actuaries to bring strong technical expertise to the client
- Building strategic relationships with key client contacts and foster trust and collaboration in all engagements
- Engage and collate data from clients, perform the data analytics and co-present the results of the annual new business volume surveys.
- Own the quote process for assigned opportunities using technical expertise to support costing, review, and approve quotes within own authority

We strive to achieve our ambitious targets and celebrate these with as much enthusiasm as we deployed to reach them. We have a dual mandate in wholistically owning the client relationships, but also in owning a significant part of the technical offering for clients.
About You
We are seeking an outstanding client-centric communicator with entrepreneurial mind-set who can balance strong technical skills with a view of the "big picture" and ability to not get stuck in the detail, being cognizant of the longer-term market implications. You also demonstrate pro-active "hunting" attitude and ability to read people and build new relationships.
Requirements
- Student actuary, that is making good progress with their exams, with 1 to 3 years' experience across different functions in the life and health insurance industry
- Actuarial Pricing and product development skills and experience in applying the Actuarial control cycle
- Interest in Customer Engagement and Servicing
- Experience in dealing with complex deals
