Looking for an admin assistant in Woodmead Office Park to reports to director(s).
Job requirements:
- Type of Contract: 6 month contract with possibility of being permanent
- Start Date: 9th July 2018
- The individual will be required to work both alone and alongside the business owner.
- The role would suit an autonomous, organised, individual with the ability to use their own initiative and think outside the box in order to problem solve on occasion.
- We are looking for someone with the desire to learn and help push the business forward, success in this role has the potential to lead to a management role going forward.
- As this role doesn’t formally exist within the business at this time, the right individual could help fashion the role.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, would be ideal)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Job responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
- Distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Maintain a filing system
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists
- Book travel arrangements
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Liaise with executive to handle requests and queries from senior managers
- Assisting in daily office needs and
- Managing our company’s general administrative activities.
