Looking for an Administration Manager in Cape Town.
Job responsibilities:
- Maintain administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
- Provide supplies by identifying needs for reception, switchboard, mailroom and kitchen; establishing policies, procedures and work schedules.
- Provide communication systems by identifying needs; evaluating options; maintaining equipment; approving invoices.
- Complete special projects by organising and co-ordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
- Achieve financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analysing variances.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job requirements:
- Tracking budget expenses, staffing, quality management, organisation, coaching, communication processes, motivating others, promoting process improvement, reporting skills.
- Ability to research companies and individuals on the African continent.
- Knowledge of Pastel and financial administration.
- English fluency in both oral and written communications
- Fluency in a second and third language is preferred
- Clean driver’s license and their own vehicle for transport purposes.
- A high degree of computer literacy, including experience of Excel and PowerPoint, and a basic typing speed of 60 words per minute.
Before appointing a successful applicant, the applicant will undergo a Positive Vetting (PV) to determine the accuracy and true fullness of statements made on their application form and during the interviewing process.
The appointment will be on a permanent basis, subject to a 3-month probation.
