Job Description

Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the e-Learning team and environments where UDL e-Learning is involved.
- Providing e-learning administrative and technical support with regard to stakeholders and multimedia where users UDL is involved.
- Planning and scheduling of team support activities, recordings and multimedia venue bookings.
- Manage the e-Learning mailbox.
- Scheduling team tasks and activities.
- Stationery management.
- Meeting scheduling and minute taking.
- Contributing to the development of a strategic long-term plan for UDL regarding e-learning presentation.
- Query handling and management.
- Asset control: management and record keeping of e-Learnings assets.
- Ensuring quality assurance and effective records management.
- Ad hoc tasks
- Grade 12
- 2 - 3 years administrative experience
- 2 - 3 years client-service experience
- Computer literate and high levels of efficiency in MS Office, Google Drive, MS Team and learner management systems (LMS).
- An additional diploma/academic qualification will serve as a recommendation.
- Experience in administrative support within a technology environment.
- Good minute taking skills.
- The ability to manage and schedule team tasks and activities.
- Knowledge of the operations of UDL Teaching and Learning.
- The ability to function effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal relations, communication skills and a positive client-service orientation.
- Proven ability to effectively handle queries and liaise with students, lecturers and faculties.
- Experience in records management.
- Ability to guide end-users on the use of digital technologies.
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
