Job Title: Remote Administrative Assistant - Contractors

Location: South Africa (Remote)

Description:We are seeking a highly articulate and proactive individual to join our team as a Remote Administrative Contractor. This position offers the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home, providing administrative support to our team. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing various tasks efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls with a clear and friendly voice, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Provide administrative support including data entry, scheduling appointments, and managing emails.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and/or CRM systems for data organization and management.
  • Participate in video calls for meetings, training, and other collaborative activities.
  • Maintain a quiet and private workspace equipped with necessary tools including an inverter for power backup during load-shifting periods.
  • Work effectively within a +6 to +7-hour time difference from Eastern Standard Time (EST). Requirements:- University education or equivalent experience demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.- Must reside in South Africa.- Proficient in using Windows 10 or 11 operating systems.- Experience using Microsoft Excel and/or CRM systems preferred.- Reliable desktop or laptop computer with a stable internet connection.- Proper headset for clear communication during phone calls and video meetings.- Comfortable chair and ergonomic workspace setup.- Must have an inverter to ensure uninterrupted power during load-shifting periods in South Africa. Contractor vs Employee:As an independent contractor, you have the flexibility to set your hours and work from home. You will be paid biweekly based on submitted invoices, and your hours will be tracked using Avanti. While you have the freedom to work more than 40 hours per week, it's essential to note that you are responsible for paying your taxes. We believe in starting everyone in an entry-level position to ensure attention to detail and commitment before progressing to other roles. Note: Availability during 8-5 pm EST is crucial for most tasks, although some work may be done asynchronously. Thoughtful consideration of your availability is required, especially considering the time difference. Our team does not have a physical presence in South Africa; all team members are independent contractors. We provide an invoice template for billing purposes.
