Job description
Our company is looking for an Administrator to join our Marketing team at our Johannesburg office based in Midrand.
The ideal candidate should be willing to learn and grow with our company, be a good team player and perform under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric
- Preference will be given to an administrative qualification or certificate
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Professional personal presentation
- Customer service orientation
- Information management
- Organising and planning
- Attention to detail
- Initiative
- Reliability
- Applicant must be fluent in both Afrikaans and English
- The candidate must be fully computer-literate (Microsoft Office suite) and have excellent administration and organisational skills
- Own reliable transport is an advantage
- General office and administration duties, such as filing, emailing, scanning and telephone enquiries.
- Meticulous data entry, opening of new customer files and coordinate marketing lead sheets.
- Diary and time management.
- Screen and respond to all incoming telephone calls and take action as appropriate.
- Maintain polite, positive service attitude and professional communication via phone and e-mail.
- General typing and updating of client information and documentation.
- Attend to any catering/beverage requirements for department functions and meetings.
- Act as communication medium between external and internal stakeholders.
- Compile minutes when necessary.
