Administrator position available for a small company in Salt River, Cape Town.
Job requirements:
- The candidate should be a South African citizen
- Matric
- Own transport to and from work
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel essential) and Omni POS (essential)
- Have a good telephone manner and be well presented
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a manager in the steel manufacturing industry is a requirement
Job responsibilities:
- Oversee smooth running of front office and staff
- Buyer, HR, CR
- Ensure processes are functioning properly
- Ensure office essentials are in place
- Ensure Roemer’s policies and law regulations are adhered to
- Distribute relevant policies within the company as well as to clients
- Ensure smooth and adequate flow of information within the company
- Manage schedules, deadlines and morning reports
- Monitor income, costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
- Distribute and collate quoting
- Allocate work (jobs) internally and to external service providers
- Compile and distribute data and reports
- Manage key staff members
- Organise and supervise office activities
- Develop and implement customer service policy
- Manage general correspondence
- Implement various quality control processes for production
- Machine Maintenance
