- Must have strong verbal, written and numerical skills
- Ability to handle high volumes of data input with accuracy
- Learn procedures and systems and prioritize work

Responsibilities
- Compile reports with regards to procurement
- Quality Control – working closely with Quality Department
- New Suppliers are evaluated and all required documentation obtained and evaluated before purchasing commences. (Can only purchase from Supplier who are Halaal/Halaal certified and the pricing has been compared and is competitive)
- Update the approved Supplier list/approved outsourced Supplier list once forms are returned
- Annual re-evaluation of Suppliers/Outsourced Suppliers – by obtaining updated BBBEE certifications and ISO certificates, Halaal and FSSC certificates and any other necessary supporting documents.
- Keep track of all raw materials left over and stored at the 3rd party for use in future production with specific reference to expiry dates
- Ensure that all Suppliers information and ingredients documentation has been updated at the 3rd party packer and their file is current
- Co-ordinated samples delivered to 3rd party packer for the use of sampling and development of new flavours and new products
- Keep track of any updates to recipes of formulation changes so 3rd party packer has been updated to the changes so they can adjust blending accordingly.
- Ensure raw material purchased shelf life is 12 months or more
- Ensure new suppliers documentation is quality checked by the QA department before sending them to the blenders
