Minimum Requirements For The Role
- Must have a Bachelor- or Masters Degree in Process / Automation Engineering, Computer Science or comparable education
- An electrical certification with an added automation qualification (preferably Siemens and Schneider) will be required
- Minimum 5 years experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance, repairs and installations, including maintaining automation systems (preferably / Siemens and Schneider) is essential
- Must have advance knowledge doing fault finding on multidisciplinary systems, including pneumatic systems.
- Experience in Manufacturing- and Plant Automation systems including software skills in areas such as MES, SCADA, PLC, etc. will be required
- Must have experience in process optimization, maintenance and site support
- Ensuring asset integrity according legal and corporate regulation.
- Installing or maintaining criticality on assets according to company guidelines.
- Following up, coordinating and giving advice on the asset care strategy items like time, condition, or proactive based all driven by criticality.
- Organising, training and coaching RCA and FMEA on site.
- Driving focus improvement on asset care for the site.
- Keeping asset care info up to date in the CMMS and SharePoint systems.
- Presenting as member on global asset care and reliability communities where needed.
- Looking for use of new digital transformation on assets with positive ROI.
- Maintaining and supporting site manufacturing systems such as MES, SCADA, PLC, OEE, etc.
- Initiating, taking and coordinating actions to drive process- and manufacturing system and maintenance improvements.
- Analysing production data and make recommendations to site leadership to sustain and improve.
- Supporting plant operations by tracking performance metrics.
- Providing service and support to ensure the site is capable to meet daily-, weekly-, monthly-, and yearly business objectives.
- Providing 1st line support for the site manufacturing systems such as SCADA, PLC, OEE, etc. including the maintenance and resolution of production- and downtime issues.
- Taking ownership and implementing changes to optimise the configuration of the actual plant process systems like PLC systems, Scada (Automation).
- Working closely with the European Engineering- and Digital Manufacturing to implement automation systems and best practices.
