Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Agile projects within the banking domain, ensuring successful project delivery while adhering to Agile principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and product owners to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Apply Agile methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor project activities, including creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and obstacles, ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track and report project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques related to Agile project management and the banking domain and apply that knowledge to enhance project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience in implementing SAFe in large-scale projects.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, coupled with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable.
