Minimum Requirements For The Role
- Must have a BSc Degree in Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, Horticulture, Plant Physiology or Agronomy
- Must be accredited in BASOS
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role with proven experience in field trials management and customer prospecting will be required
- Must have knowledge of the methodology for assembling, conducting and harvesting fields trials.
- Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
- Must be able to deliver presentations in a clear, assertive and aligned with company's objectives way
- MS Office advanced skills, mainly PowerPoint and Excel are important
- Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel
- Establishing relations with customers and employees based on the values defined by the company.
- Accomplishing periodic visits to distributors and customers, aiming to understand the needs, offer solutions after analysis, and validate the solutions with the Regional Managers
- Prospecting new customers in the region and contributing with complete analysis for the Regional Manager to support business strategy.
- Ensuring and leading distributor management to support business strategy.
- Ensuring, with Manager's support, the execution of the company Action Plan within the quality standards established by the company.
- Ensuring the sales process, including the order, planning of delivery within the necessary time and monitoring of the payment of the order, aiming to increase sales.
- Assembling demonstration trials, managing the development, applications, and harvest with excellence, and sending the results to the company and customers.
- Ensuring the flow of information between customers and the company, anticipating problems and actively participating in discussions of alternative solutions with the Regional Manager and departments of the company.
- Submitting timely reports (activities, visits and flows) and prior weekly schedule of activities.
- Ensuring collaboration with all departments of the company to meet deadlines with quality, share results and good practices, have critical analysis and communication initiative to increase teamwork.
- Ensuring the efficiency and performance of products in the field to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
