The ideal candidate for this position, should be familiar with the sanitaryware distribution approach in the SSA market, as well as expertise selling products into this distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate the market based on sales trends and sales potential, ensuring effective strategies are implemented to reach sales volume quotas
- Establish a comprehensive distribution network for the organization's products
- Lead and supervise the Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Team, and Marketing Team
- Collaborate with importers, distributors, building firms, plumbers, contractors, and key buying organizations
- Ensure all receivables are kept up to date and notify management about the credit limit of the organization's distributors
- Provide training and assistance in resolving concerns with sales programs, installation, and after sales technical issues
- Prepare annual sales forecasts, strategic plans and financial plans and discuss them with senior management
- Attend corporate sales meetings, trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and conferences
- Stay informed about current market developments and competitor activities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing and Sales
- A minimum of 13 years of sales management experience in the Middle East or SSA, ideally in FMCD/sanitaryware and building material trade, is required
- Must be able to travel across the SSA region
- Excellent presentation and communication skills. Fluency in regional dialects is advantageous
