Gibela Rail Transport Consortium invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the E-Learning Developer position. The position will report to the TSSSA Technical Training Manager.
The successful candidate will be based in Midrand.
Main Objective:
Gibela will supply a 600-trains fleet with Technical Support and Spare Supply over 19 years to his customer. Training must be provided to the customer. The business has intense commitments to develop the skills of the people.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop E-Learning courses, specifically
Web-Based Training (WBT) and
Instructor Led Training (ILT) in conjunction with the maintenance Engineering team (Subject Matter Experts)
- Capture e-learning videos for corrective maintenance activities
- Capture 3D videos from instructions using CATIA Composer
- Merge training videos with Engineering instructions using available Easy Movies software
- Manage work instructions with voice over software (hear instead of reading)
- Create knowledge anchoring questions to for knowledge competency assessment
- Merge special process videos with .pdf Work Instructions
- Use 3D Juump software to capture 3D images for training instruction
- Making equipment and software recommendations
- Maintenance of e-learning courseware for various versions of the modules
- Diploma in Graphics Design or equivalent
- Assessor & Facilitation accreditation
- Instructional design
- Network and media technologies
- Adobe Flash/HTML5
- CATIA Composer (any 3D software)
- Technical Trainer with rail related experience will be advantage e.
