Your role would largely be focused on credit analysis, financial modelling, risk management, and regulatory processes. This involves, amongst other things, the reviewing of legal documentation, and continuous monitoring of listed and unlisted credit investments.

Education Requirements
  • Relevent business degree (Bcom, BEng, BBus, Bus Sci.)

Responsibilities

In this role, you would be responsible for managing all aspects of credit risk for a portfolio of infrastructure debt investments. This includes conducting thorough credit analysis, creating financial models, reviewing legal documents, and engaging with stakeholders. You would also monitor counterparties on an ongoing basis. Additionally, you would network within the industry to assess and process early-stage infrastructure transactions in South Africa and Africa. Your key areas of focus would include evaluating counterparties, financial modelling, legal analysis, and structuring and pricing instruments.

You would proactively monitor the portfolio, communicate recommendations to stakeholders, and analyse potential investment opportunities. You would also develop funding solutions for various industry sectors, present proposals to the relevant committees, and review and negotiate legal documentation. Finally, you would contribute to enhancing the credit risk management framework and handle administrative tasks related to credit processing.

  • Embedded knowledge of the credit and fixed income markets
