ANCILLARY NURSES
Duties of an Ancillary Health Care Worker
An Ancillary Health Care Worker does the following duties under supervision of professional nurse.
1.Assisting Clients with personal care,(dressing, mobility,administering medication, personal hygiene,eating and transporting doctor's appointments)
2.Monitoring patient medications and update health charts
3.Monitoring and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse etc)
4.Maintain Open communication between families and health Care Professionals regarding client's medical and emotional condition
5.Document and report any changes in client's health status
6.Ensure highest client safety and well being
REQUIREMENTS
•1 Year working experience
•NQF level 1
•ABET level 4
•Aspect of Community Care
•Learnership-HWSETA
