Blink Tower is seeking a new full-time scriptwriter!
We make short, animated videos that explain businesses, products and ideas in a way that anyone can understand. As a writer, you're arguably the most important cog in our creative machine. It's the writer who must sift through all that complicated info, peel away the jargon, distil it into a kick-ass script, and set the tone for the rest of production process. So no pressure!
Job responsibilities:
- Scripting our explainer videos from start to finish (including research, liaising with clients, and incorporating external and internal feedback over numerous drafts)
- Leading brainstorm sessions with the creative team
- Collaborating with fellow writers, illustrators and animators over "thumbnail" and storyboard directions
- Eagerly contributing constructive feedback to the rest of the team (whether visuals, sounds or whatever else comes up)
- Assisting with any administrative copy that may be needed outside of the production process (proposals, brochures, press releases, website copy etc.)
- Writing social media updates and keeping the BT brand on-point!
