The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust sales strategies, driving business development, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the Sales and Service Subsidiary in South Africa, overseeing a team of over 50 employees
- Developing and implementing comprehensive business strategies aligned with company objectives
- Maintaining continuous communication and collaboration with the Regional director for EMEA and the headquarters
- Implementing and monitoring relevant processes to ensure operational excellence
- Identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities
- Continuous improvement of sales and service activities
- Planning and controlling annual sales and cost budgets
- Providing strong leadership and fostering the professional development of the team
- Ensuring compliance with company processes, policies, and regulations.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Sales Director, preferably in the instrumentation/process industry
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or a related field. An additional degree in Economics is advantageous
- Extensive experience in B2B sales management
- In-depth understanding of sales and service management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute result-oriented sales strategies
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Profound knowledge of the South African market
