This casting metal factory is in search of an tenacious Accounts Payable Clerk to join their unified high performing finance team on a 3 months basis. The suitable candidate to fill this role will be required to provide financial, administrative and clerical services including, processing and monitoring incoming payments and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
This exhilarating contract role requires an independent thinker and worker who requires minimal supervision and will hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Full AP function
- Process accounts and incoming and outgoing payments in compliance with policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transaction
- Prepare remittances and payments, customer invoices and statements
- Reconciliation of the AP ledger
- Completed National Diploma in Accounting / Finance
- 4 + years' in a similar role within the logistics / freight / manufacturing
- Solid understanding of processes and policies (will be probed)
- Management skills
- Goal driven
