Required Qualifications And Experience
- Be in possession of ICT Technical degree/ B-Tech/ Honours degree.
- Should have an ITIL / COBIT Certification.
- Should have experience managing software development and Operation & Maintenance teams responsible for a business application portfolio of small, medium and large-scale systems/applications using industry recognized delivery methodologies (e.g. SDLC, Agile, and their hybrids).
- Should have software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience must include managing detailed software requirements, design, coding, unit testing, integration, build and release management, and the creation and maintenance of associated documentation.
- Should have experience with supporting open-source applications and an understanding of web technology.
- Should have experience in managing or developing cloud-based applications.
- Should have extensive experience in a senior role within a professional ICT environment planning, installing, maintaining, and supporting business applications.
- Should have experience of supporting business application systems and an understanding of their architecture.
- Knowledge of SLA formulation and monitoring.
- Working knowledge ITIL principles.
- A sound understanding of technical IT issues to enable discussions with internal and external technical specialists.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET technologies, JavaScript, and Web technologies.
- Knowledge IT systems Risk Management.
- Knowledge of IT governance (CobiT) principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Extensive problem solving and debugging skills.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Adaptable and flexible to business demands.

- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage onshore/offshore development staff that ranges from Junior to Senior level.
