Position Responsibilities
Regular
- Champion Paint SQDCPME metrics to meet the Plant metrices
- Review Safety Performance for SOI, GERT opportunities, Safety Incidents & observations & support team with encouragement & resources for improvement.
- Review Quality performance for RTY, FRC, Top 5 issues & corrective actions, repair performance & drive incremental improvements through process deep knowledge continuously.
- Review Delivery performance for 1st hour, abnormalities & exceptions & overall production output for the day with Production, Maintenance & ME Managers.
- Review Cost performance for any spike in Bulk, NPM, Scrap, Water Spares Services driven by exceptions & driving team for countermeasure actions to overcome cost spike. Encourage team for delivering within targets & appreciation for below targets.
- Review RTO Head count week over week & efficiency improvement projects delivery & facilitate teams to deliver actions from WERS to e QPS delivery.
- Engage with People through spot card appreciations, skip level meetings at all levels, ACC, PCC & SCC meetings to keep the team motivated at all times.
- Review Maintenance performance for Availability, MTTR, MTBF, Top X issues, PM to deliver the shop flow.
- Monthly Review meetings with Bulk material supplier technical/ Service team for performance review & driving improvement actions continuously.
- Participate in DQM meeting with Plant leadership & report out Paint shop Quality performance for Internal & External Indicators.
- Plant lead for Energy Management operating system & driving systemically with MOS Managers for energy performance for PD, NPD, shutdown performance, compressed air retention & Plant Energy roadmap.
- Review Bulk Material consumption & continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop & review Paint shop L& OH budget for Labour, Power, Gas, Scrap, NPM, Maintenance spares & Services & provide year over year efficiency.
- Champion Paint VRT team & facilitate quick response for any field concerns from Domestic or Export markets for LTIS & THIS issues.
- Balance SPP Production planning with VO Production plan to optimize common Utility usage.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings to cascade leadership messaging, realign priorities & take feedback from employees.
- Participate in GFPS TDMs both inside & outside shop to deliver the charter intent & motivate team with behavioral examples.
- Active engagement with Plant leadership meetings to develop annual strategy, realign with changing priorities & take collective responsibility for decisions.
- Work with MBO office for Capacity planning based on Program allocation.
- Work with VOME team for Product & Process changes driven by Major / minor programs or market urgent needs.
- Facility upgrade / Budget reviews with VOME.
- F & T Investment proposal to management supported with TARR.
- Interface with VOME Facility, VOME Implementation team, and other support functions to meet Paint shop deliverables for flaw less launch.
- Manpower Planning & approval for New Programs.
- Lead shop CSR activity, Hiring support for PWD, D& I, review Bonus metrics for shop.
- Inspire team for regional level / State level & Plant level events for Kaizen, Productivity Improvement / ASQ/ Quality Circle events to showcase the talent & capability & groom them for future responsibilities.
- Degree in Chemical / Mechanical.
- Min 15-20 years in automobile industry.
- Experience related to Paint shop environment, leadership acumen.

Education Qualification : Degree in Chemical / Mecahnical
