ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for the running and managing the day to day and strategic elements of the Body Construction Plant
POSITION DETAILS
´ Responsibilities / Accountabilities
´ Communication and working relationships
´ Performance manage and achieve the KPI’s of the Body Construction Plant inline with SQDCPMEL
´ Safety, prevention, strategy and improvement plans
´ Maintain and Improve Vehicle and facility Quality (Incoming/Outgoing quality, parts and vehicle measurement(DCD), QOS, TS16949/ISO9002 and Environmental policies)
´ Strategical Production Performance – Achieve and manage Delivery, volumes and mix.
´ Cost – development and management of Body Plant budget and cost improvement
´ Resource planning and balancing, People development and training, global week of caring, team building and employee satisfaction improvement. Achieving Manning and equipment efficiency
´ Drive Maintenance operating system for continues improvement to achieve TPP, MTBF, MTTR and up-time etc.
´ FPS and Lean Manufacturing with respect to Manufacturing principles to meet aligned business objectives
´ New product launches – strategic development and implementation, including shift planning
´ Champion VRT to meet external customer needs and expectations
PERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA
´ The mean to measure the accomplishment of the position responsibilities
´ Completion of training requirements according to training strategy and plan
´ Improvement in External Quality Data
´ Delivery of Facility to Net JPH

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
´ National Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical or Equivalent)
´ +/- 10 years automotive experience (strong sheet metal plant manufacturing experience)
Sheet metal welding and stamping technical Engineering
´ 6-sigma (Green Belt beneficial Black Belt)
´ Deep knowledge on QOS (Quality Operating system) and MOS (Maintenance Operating System)
´ Production Experience in high level robotic and automation environment
