Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment activities for Security portfolio
- Responsible for specific regions recruitment
- Maintain Text Hire - Neptune (Build and maintain employee pipeline with a strong focus on ETI and Disabilities)
- Liaise with Operations and Sales in terms of future demand and build pipelines
- Build a solid relationship with operations to support with day to day engagements and transfers
- Work with Comp and Ben Admin for submission of documentation
- Support with on boarding / engagements (management and unskilled)
- Report monthly on recruitment activities
- Provide advice and support on recruitment and staff selection system;
- Maintain records on recruitment / vacancy requests
- Identify upcoming vacancies;
- Coordinate the preparation of vacancy announcements, renew and submit the vacancy announcements;
- Review and screen applications, compile a list of applications;
- Coordinate the short-listing and interviewing activities;
- Prepare job offers to successful candidates and reference check;
- Maintain staffing records and related recruitment tracking tools and statistics etc;
- Extract report to monitor a variety of human resources activities i.e. appointment dates, grade, site, ID no. Co. No., etc.
- The recruitment officer seeks qualified people to fill positions in the company. For high-level positions, the recruitment officer will privately contact the potential employee and offer the job. Discretion is essential when conducting this work, as allowing the potential employee's current employer know about the job offer can cause her problems.
- Any other duty assigned from time to time by your Manager
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent people skills
- Strong interpersonal and communicative skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literate
- Familiarity with training policies and practices particularly with respect to recruitment, selection and classification of the various industries in which the company operates viz. retail, corporate, mining and estates
Qualifications-Matric & Further Education In Security Or Similar Field- 2 3 years minimum related experience -Proven security management experience -Experience using relevant technology and equipment e.g. CCTV -Experience in reporting and emergency response planning -Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures -Computer literate -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Committed and reliable -Valid Drivers Licence
