Armoury Auditor/ Investigator

A vacancy exists for a Armoury Auditor / Investigator at our Robertville Branch reporting to the National Armoury Manager. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that the company policies and procedures pertaining to the Armoury are adhered to at all times. Conduct regular audits and investigations nationally if and when required.

Minimum Requirements...
  • Grade 12 Matric.
  • PSIRA Grade A Registered and Accredited.
  • Firearm Competency on all Firearms for Business Purposes.
  • Good knowledge of the Firearms control act.
  • No Criminal Record or any pending cases.
  • Must have at least 3 Years Security or SAPS Experience with 3 Contactable References.
  • Excellent Computer Skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Investigation Skills and proven track record.
  • Excellent Administration Skills.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to liaise professionally with personnel and customers at all levels.
  • Ability to work without supervision and under pressure.
  • Must have a valid Drivers Licence.
  • Must have own Reliable Transport.
Job Specification...

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):
  • Weekly Firearm and Ammunition Audit This will also be required on adhoc basis and if and when required.
  • Conducting Audits on Branches to ensure that the company policies and procedures pertaining to the Armoury are adhered to.
  • Maintaining all records as per company policies and procedures.
  • General Administration Duties.
  • Reporting of findings to National Armoury Manager.
  • Do follow-ups to ensure that branches are compliant.
  • Representing the company in court if and when required to do so.
  • Good housekeeping at all times.
