Assembly Technician - G4S Deposita - South Africa
Deposita SA, a world renowned Cash Management Company Specializing in Smart Solutions for Banking, Retail & Wholesale Sectors has a vacancy in the Manufacturing Department.
The core function of this role is to ensure top quality assembly of ABM machines.
Role Responsibility
- Manufacturing Functions
- Adhere to the standard operating procedure of the Assembly process.
- Adhere to the Health & Safety process stipulated in the Health & Safety guideline.
- Ensure accurate assembly of automated banking machines (ABM's).
- Testing (ABMs) to 100% completion.
- Fault finding and taking corrective measures.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required by management.
- Regularly refer to and update oneself with standard operation procedure governing the workplace.
- Work requires attention to detail to ensure uniformity and quality in the finished product.
- Assembler uses power tools or hand tools to perform his job.
- Workstation must always be cleaned and tools correctly stored according to checklist.
- Always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the workplace.
- Health and Safety
- Attend safety education and refresher programs.
- Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace.
- Qualification & Experience required
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
- 2- 3 years' Technical & Electrical experience.
- Skills
- Computer literate - ability to work on Excel, MS Outlook, Word.
- Communication (written and verbal).
- Sharing and cooperating.
- Problem Solving.
- Needs to be skilled with hand tools.
