Asset Verification Specialists (3 MONTHS)

Our client is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to assist in the comprehensive verification of assets across Parliament locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough physical verification of all assets across multiple Parliament locations.
  • Implement barcode labeling for accurate asset tracking.
  • Assess and record the condition of each asset, categorizing them as good or broken.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to unverified assets.
  • Identify and report locked locations to the Asset Controller.
  • Distribute verified inventory lists to designated offices.
  • Complete and accurately capture asset verification forms.
  • Provide daily reports to the Asset Controller, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Undertake any additional duties related to the asset verification process.
Requirements
  • Minimum of Matric (Grade 12). A three-year qualification in a related field (e.g., Human Resource, Finance, Business Administration).
  • Have six months to one year of experience in asset verification or a related area.
  • Proven experience in asset management or inventory verification.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in using scanners and other inventory management tools.
  • Availability to work across various Parliament locations.
