Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical verification of all assets across multiple Parliament locations.
- Implement barcode labeling for accurate asset tracking.
- Assess and record the condition of each asset, categorizing them as good or broken.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to unverified assets.
- Identify and report locked locations to the Asset Controller.
- Distribute verified inventory lists to designated offices.
- Complete and accurately capture asset verification forms.
- Provide daily reports to the Asset Controller, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Undertake any additional duties related to the asset verification process.
- Minimum of Matric (Grade 12). A three-year qualification in a related field (e.g., Human Resource, Finance, Business Administration).
- Have six months to one year of experience in asset verification or a related area.
- Proven experience in asset management or inventory verification.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
- Proficiency in using scanners and other inventory management tools.
- Availability to work across various Parliament locations.
