- Matric.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Completed Accounting degree.
- Prior accounting experience is essential.
- Thorough understanding of South African Tax Legislation is advantageous.
- Experience with Pastel software.
- Xero experience considered an advantage.
- Assisting with Financial Transactions: Accurately and efficiently recording invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Maintaining precise financial records using software or spreadsheets.
- Bank Reconciliations: Ensuring alignment between bank statements and cash book records, resolving any discrepancies.
- Assisting with Tax Compliance: Supporting in the preparation of tax returns and VAT submissions to meet regulatory requirements.
- Financial Reporting: Aiding in the preparation of financial statements such as income, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Administrative Support: Filing documents, organising records, and addressing inquiries.
- Learning and Development: Participating in training programs to develop accounting skills under senior guidance.
