We are seeking an innovative Marketing specialist to oversee all marketing campaigns and implement strategy for our two private educational institutions brands. They will be responsible for coordinating the brand internally, the campuses central point of communication and information on and about the brand, and project managing the marketing activities. They will also be involved in the above and below the line activities of the Marketing Department internally and externally.
The incumbent will report to the Marketing Manager.
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant marketing qualification
- Minimum of three years brand marketing experience
- Social Media and Content Marketing knowledge and experience essential
- Community Management experience
- Youth Marketing experience/knowledge advantageous
- Strong project management, time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Organised and administratively strong
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to think strategically and analyse data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Meticulous attention to detail is essential
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Results-driven, with a positive 'can do' attitude
- Ensure the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones
- Coordinating marketing strategies with the campuses and sales departments.
- To strategise, plan and implement projects and initiatives to maximise marketing the brand to the primary and secondary markets, as well as internally within the staff.
- Website management.
- Copywriting and content management for social media channels, mailers, smss, google and other relevant platforms.
- Work with and manage advertising, PR and media agencies by providing precise briefs and
- assessing delivery thereon
- Event/promotion coordination for external and internal audiences for the brands and its students
- Conceptualise, develop, and present innovative, proactive plans on marketing strategies for specific marketing campaigns and projects
- Responsible for managing departmental timelines and creative briefs
- Ensure that orders and invoices are completed timeously for payment, in line with established company SOP's
- Project management and/or facilitation of ad hoc marketing projects and strategic initiatives
- Ensure that all internal and external marketing content is updated, consistent and conforms to the company's brand standards
- Ensure that brand usage is consistent across the campuses
- Manage and negotiate preferential pricing structures and delivery with suppliers
- Maintain digital files and records of all marketing initiatives and projects
- Conduct research, interpret and strategise accordingly
- Ensure the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones
