Job Description
Responsible for shunting train trucks and moving products in a safe and secure manner. Ensure safety compliance and standards are maintained at all times.
Requirement
- Minimum Qualification: Grade 10 certificate.
- Completed Sampler course
- Willing to work overtime
- Shunting of trucks as per Transnet regulations
- Cautiously move / push products / truck up to scale in a way that does not damage, products, structures or equipment
- Ensure compliance by always carrying a valid Shunter permit / certificate
- Reporting of all rail and sideline incidents to supervisor
- Loading of train and road trucks
- Assist with daily inspections and general maintenance
- Ensure compliance to company standards and procedures
- Adhere to all food safety legislative requirements /standards (NOSA, SHE act.)
- Assist in all areas where support is required
- Ensure excellent service delivery
