Job vacancy for an assistant payroll administrator in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape.
Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of monthly payroll, review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets, track and deduct all payroll deductions.
- Establish and maintain employee records, ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis.
- Responsible for the coordination between payroll and HR, to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
- Generating reports for payment e.g. PAYE , UIF, SDL , Provident Fund and Unions.
- Prepare month end journals and reporting eg expenses claims, overtime, leave balances, head count and month end reports.
- Manage IR matters, documentation and hearings.
- Schedule hearing, grievances meetings.
- Facilitate weekly/ monthly H.R reports/ stats.
- Communicate payroll changes to the HR Manager on time.
- Answering staff queries.
Job requirements:
- At least 2 years working in Payroll.
- Matric and NQF Level 5, or a relevant diploma.
- Experience in contract cleaning sector.
- Experience in HR/IR.
