We are looking for Assistant to Consul of Japan to work at The Embassy of Japan based in Cape Town.
Duties:
- Duties include drafting, editing and filing of speeches, letters and other official correspondence, organizing events and functions, compiling a daily media report, and conducting research on subjects assigned;
- General secretarial tasks are also expected.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher and at least three years fulltime administrative experience, or National Senior Certificate or higher and at least eight years fulltime administrative experience during which three consecutive years as personal assistant at senior management level or similar position;
- Excellent command of English, both oral and written;
- Excellent communication skills Sufficient research and analysis experience;
- Good experience in speech writing and formal document drafting / editing;
- Good computer knowledge and skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheet and database software;
- South African citizen or permanent resident holder Resident in Cape Town area preferred.
