The Education Development Unit, within the Faculty of Health Sciences, invites applications for this Full Time Six-Month post of Web Designer (E-Learning) to develop online content and administer of online courses.
Job requirements:
- Certificate in Web Design or related field.
- Advanced HTML skills.
- 6 months working experience as a web designer / developer.
- Knowledge of, and demonstrated competence in creating of web documents.
- Advanced computer literacy and computer operation experience.
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a team, interpedently and to communicate efficiently.
- Data analysis skills.
- Report writing skills.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop teaching and learning resources.
- Find and publish free resources which can assist students in learning or at request of staff members.
- Convert teaching and learning material into web-based media.
- Design and create interactive web pages.
- Basic video processing and editing.
- Modify/update existing web pages.
- Running all administrative aspects of online courses.
- Other general administrative and education related tasks.
