Conducts supervisory, management or nontechnical skills training courses for internal staff. Uses needs assessment tools to determine effectiveness of proposed training programs. Interacts with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans including the method, media, and documentation to be presented. Instructs participants in classroom lectures and/or group sessions. Conducts follow up to determine applicability of course material.

The Trainer works on strategic learning and development initiatives. The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct informative training sessions, promote company efficiency and improve the skills of all employees within an assigned business area. They strive towards the drive of relevance, awareness and adoption of key learning across target audiences.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
Participate in the delivery of learning interventions in line with annual training targets and/or needs and ensure the accuracy of the information on the learning portal.
Offer detail technical support with the facilitation of lower to middle level complexity programmes applying and implementing the best learning tools and methodologies.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning interventions and incorporate the findings in the redesign of the programmes.
Provide input related to management information reports on learning and development initiatives and on the progress made in relation to the annual training targets.
Support peers and teams by arranging, preparing and setting up training venues.
Stay current with trends within learning and development facilitation and employ tools and methodologies that ensure best practice.
Assist with the preparation of an annual training report which documents actual training completed in relation to the annual training targets that were set.
Conduct presentations for training sessions.
Actively engage in professional development to ensure quality and high standards in training.
Conduct training seminars, workshops, individual training sessions and lectures.
Prepare hard copy training material such as module summaries, videos, and presentations as required.
Monitor to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training.

Academic Qualifications And Certifications
Diploma / Degree
Qualification with Learning and Development Specialisation preferred
Required Experience
Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment
Experience providing full-scope training materials
