Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews and quality assurance tasks to verify compliance with existing client standards and the defined technology strategy/roadmaps.
- Provide general oversight and assurance for all technical execution activities or its suppliers conduct.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including the Project Manager and vendors, to ensure alignment with quality and compliance objectives.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address any deviations or non-compliance issues.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Occasional visits to Guinea to provide on-site oversight and support, although the role will not involve hands-on work.
- Utilise a deep understanding of mining industry requirements and experience with greenfield mine setups (nice-to-have) to assess compliance within a mining context.
- Fluent in English, with French language skills being beneficial for effective communication
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Assurance Manager or in a similar quality assurance role.
- Familiarity with conducting reviews, audits, and quality assurance tasks to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
- Ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively with project managers and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Understanding of mining industry requirements and experience with greenfield mine setups (nice-to-have).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English. French language skills are beneficial
