Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Audit Project Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring progress of audit engagements against plan and schedule, assessing work performed by the audit engagement team, and providing coaching and on-the-job training for team members to ensure engagements are completed.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 15 legal entities (need to complete 2021, 2022 & 2023)
- Review audit working papers
- Liaise with external auditing firm
- Track team responsibility and deliverables
- Review trial balances
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare audit working papers
- Assign work to audit accountants
- Track issues for resolution with SME
- Prepare accounting policies
- Completed articles at Big 4 (non-negotiable)
- CTA
- Experience with JIRA or a similar ticketing system
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong numerical skills
